WEDDING.

STEWART—bRR. r. number of guests motored oui on Wednesday afternoon to “Dunolly,” where the very pretty wedding took place of Aliss Marjorie Orr, the daughter of Mrs. Orr, Havelock North, to Eric Joseph Stewart, sou of Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Stewart. Mrs. Orr, to whom Airs. Stewart lent her house for the wedding, received her guests in the hall, aud in her own charming manner made everyone welcome. She was wearing a black frock heavily embroidered with a finely pleated vest in shell pink, and a fur collar. Her wide black hat had touches of shell pink, and her bouquet was of autumn tints with pink shading. The hall was decorated with silver and green streamers, the Ibride’s school (Solway) colours. Purple and white flowers were arranged all through the hall and lounge. Airs; Stewart, the bridegrooms mother, who assisted Airs. The bride looked very sweet in her Victorian Period frock of almost ankle length, made with a close fitting bodice, long tight sleeves and low neck with a touch of silver and satin dress had rich silver lace sealloped as a hem, and a bouffant effect was obtained at the sides with , long real orange blossoms. Both attendants carried posies of mauve, pink and white flowers with maidenhair fern. The bride was given away by Mr. Alason Waterworth, a relative, the best man and groomsman being Mr. K. Georgetti, and Mr. B. Stewart. The drawing-room was decorated with pink and white flowers, and an altar with vases of roses on it in the bay windows, had a wedding bell over it of white flowers. Here the Rev. Archdeacon Brocklehurst officiated at the wedding ceremony. Die dining-room was arranged lor afternoon tea and the usual toasts were honoured.
