Following upon notification from the Palmerston North Hospital Board' of increased levies tor the coming year, and also the estimates of capital expenditure, including a new two-storey blo.k of buildings, the Borough Count 11 last evening passed a resolution , ’.questing the Government to appoint an independent commission of inquiry into the whole matter of expenditure.
