MEMORIAL TO MACKOOM. Paeroa, March 19. Zerfect weather prevailed for the eluding day ot the Ohinemuri zockey Club’s meeting. There was a good attendance and the course was in good condition. The first day’s investments on the totalisator amounted to £33,082 and the second day’s to £27,852, and the total for the two days was £60,934. an increase of £10,871 over last year’s total. Results :— Waitekauri Handicap—l Lucy Rose (Mclnally) 1,2 Avon Court 2, 3 Winnington 3. Also started: 5 Mauriaena. 4 Katarena, 6 Mochau, 7 Tetaone. Won by two and a-half lengths third a length back.
