Morpeth (Wellington) 28. Miss L. Coppiestone (Canterbury) 284 NELSON SURF SHIELD Dunedin, Jan. 24. At the surf championships held at St. Clair beach to-day, Lyall Bay won the Nelson Shield with 163 points, Maranui (1574 points) was second and Canterbury (144 points) third. The four-man surf championship went to Canterbury A with 91 points. Maranui with 90 1-3 points was second, and St. Clair 84 2-3 points third.
