ONGA ONGA STOCK SALia. The Association brokers report having held the u'ual Onga Oi.ga sale yesterday, when a small yarding of cattle was offered to a good attendance of buyers. The following was the range of prices :--Two-tooth wethers 15s to 255, m.s. lambs from 18s 9d to 20s, 6-tooth to si-vear ewes 16s to 17s 9d, 2-tooth and 4tooth Suffolk ewes 265. a few stere cows up to £3 7s, cows and calves £5 ss. The brokers report sales as under: H.B. Farmers’ Co-operative Association. Ltd,—l77 2-tooth wethers 21s 4d. 223 6-tooth to 5-vear ewes 17s 9d. 279 m.s;. lambs 18s 9d. 152 6-tooth to 5-year ewes 16s. 5 Suffolk lambs 21s, 54 2-tooth and 4-tooth Suffolk ewes 265, 11 lambs 20s. 33 m.a. Suffolk ewes 22s 2d. 81 m.s. lambs 12s, 7 woolly ewes 20s 6d 11 wethers 23s 7d. 9 m.s. sheep Ils 6d. 10 rams 12s, 1 store cow £3 7s. t at £1 17s 6d. 5 cows and calves £5 ss. 1 bull 20s, 2 steers £2 16s. 2 heifers £2 15s. Hoadley. Son and Stewart. Ltd.— 66 fat lambs 245, 18 fat ewes 19s. MA HKET REPORT. Messrs Bone and Shaw report having held a very successful clearing sale of live and dead stock on account of Mr. R, McCarthy. Wall road There was a large attendance and keen competition for the dairy stock, (’ows in profit sold as follows:—One at £lO, do £8 15/-. do £”. do £6 10/-. do £4 10/-. A line of 15-inonth heifers realised £7 2/6 each, hens 3’each, stack of hay £6 10/-. Tools, harness, traps, and furniture sold we]] at. ruling market rates. The firm report having sold the farmlet of eight acres.
