AUSTRALIAN SCHOOLBOYS PLAY
Auckland, Sept. 5. In the Association Football match the Australian and Auckland schoolboys played a drawn game to-day, neither side scoring. It was a bright exhibition throughout, on a dry ground in fine weather.

DOMINION TOURNAMENT.
Palmerston North, Sept, 5. At the Dominion ladies’ hockey Ruahine A 3 beat Canterbury 2; Southland 3 beat Manawatu A 2; Wellington 3 beat Poverty Bay 0; Feilding 5 beat South Canterbury 2; Auckland 1 drew with Ruahine 1. The leading teams in the sectional play at present are Ruahine A (Dannevirke). Southland and Otago.
