NAPIER MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
JUDGMENTS BY DEFAULT.
It was civil day at the sitting of the Magistrate’s Court in Napier this morning, when Mr A. M. Mowlem, 8.M., presided.

Hocking, £2 13s bd, costs £1 5s ’ 6d; Arnold dtewart v.’ Thomas Vernon, £79 2s 3d, costs £0 2s 6d; Arnold Stewart v. Arthur Joseph, £27 16s, costs £5 5s fid; D.S. Ltd. v, separate estate of H. Thompson, £7 17s 6d, costs £1 Ils fid; Hallenstei’n Bros. v. W. H. Bird jnr., £4 3s Bd, costs £1 9d; Commissioner of Taxes’v. J. PJ. Carr, £3l 12s Bd, costs £1 10s; Dolan and Kogers v. L. Connolly, £2 2s, costs £1 3s, Ud; Dolan and Rogers v. N. Cresswell, £2 12s 2d, costs £1 3s fid; Charles Fenton Manning v. David Massey Gillman Kerr, £lll 14s costs £6 6s fid.
Judgment summonses.—F. M. Quigley was ordered to pay the De Luxe alotor Service Co., Ltd. £l7 16s at the rate of £1 per month in default 17 Jays’ imprisonment; J. Kemp was directed to pay the Texas Company Ltd. (Australia) £l9 18s 4d at the rate of 10s per week in default 21 days’ imprisonment; Ernct Horace Batchelor was ordered to pay the Hawke’s Bay Motor Company Ltd. the sum of £2 in default three days’ imprisonment.
