He maintained to the turn. Mears reduced the lead to 1 up but McIntosh regained with a good two at the 14th and maintained the lead. The golf of Raua Wagg and Morgan Duncan, the two Wellingtonians, was what you would eve in a friendly club game.
Goss and Horton are fighting hard with good golf. Both tooff 75. Sime is repeating hi s game of 1921 against Black, playing with the utmost confidence with a 73 round. N. Bell produced hi B fourth 76, and but for slipping a few putts Grant would have been closer as h 6 too is playing well. The veterans Duncan and Lusk are having a close game. But for tFe latter being out of bounds at the 18th thev would have been all square. It is now raining hard.
