Thomas Burke’s romance of Limehouse and Mayfair, produced by British National Pictures and released by Paramount with Dorothy Gish as its star. Herbert Wilcox directed. For this production, the interior of the Kit-Kat Club is shown as the setting of a dramatic moment in which Miss Gish, John Manners. Adelqui Millar and Annette Benson are the principals. “London ' is notable in that it’s the best dressed picture yet made in a British studio. The dresses for the Kit-Kat sequence and Mayfair episodes set entirelv new standards in fashions. For those who like fast moving, thrilling action pictures—and who do not—Hoot Gibson’s latest (Tiiversal-Jewbl production, “The Silent Rider.” also showing at the theatre, will prove one of the most entertaining pictures of the year.
