HAVELOCK NORTH.
UNEMPLOYMENT FUND.
The men employed under the above scheme have done a good deal of useful work. Chambers road has been completely made, and is a first-class job. One of the most dangerous places in Havelock is now being filled up by unemployed labour, and when completed will provide a footpath right up to the bowling green. The next job the Board has in view, if the money still comes in, , will be the widening of the Cemetery Hill road.
