CLASSED AS A BLACKGUARD
Auckland, August 30. “He has behaved like a blackguard in more ways than one,” said Mr F K. Hunt, S.M.. in sentencing William Rupert Curson. aged 25. to a month’s gaol lor failing to conrolv with the terms of his release on probation. He was convicted and Jis charged on charges of drunkenness and procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order. It was stated vesterdav that Curson, who was divorced, had induced a girl tq leave her home for him. He was referred to bv the Rev. Jasner Calder as being a “Jekyll and Hvde” mixture.
