WANGANUI CHAMPION COLLEGE Wanganui, Aug. 29. Tlie inter-collegiate Rugby tourney ended to-day, Wanganui winning the premiership. The scores were: Wanganui 23, Christ’s o; Wellington 21, Nelson 8. PRIMARY TOURNAMENT. Masterton, Aug. 29. The provincial primary schools Rugby tournament was continued today. Wellington beat Wanganui, 11 to 3; Wairarapa beat Manawatu. 17 to 3. The tourney will be concluded on Wednesday, when Wairarapa meets Wellington and Manawatu meet Wanganui.
