As the result of a police raid on tobacconist's shop in Hawera on Saturday afternoon, Edward William Joseph Frost was charged Inter before a Justice of the Peace with keeping a common gaming house and remanded to appear on Thursday, bail being allowed in self £lOO and one surety of £lOO.
