SUGGESTION TO N.Z. ASSN.
TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA,
Auckland, Aug. 29. Mr. E. B. McKay, who was manager of the N.S.W. tennis team in New Zealand last summer, arrived, by the Aorangi on a private visit. He said he was authorised to suggest tc the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association that a team from New Zealand would be welcome for a visit both to New South Wales and Victoria, and that arangements might be made for a combined team from those States to represent Australia in this Dominion. New Zealanders would see some of the best Australian players now in form, such as Crawford, Calms and Williams, of New South Wales, and Patterson, Hawkes and Schlesnger, of Victoria.
