WELLINGTON TEAM TO PLAY MANAWHENUA. Wellington, Aug. 26. Following is the Wellington team to play Manawhenua, the Kanfurly Shield holders, on Saturday :—Malcolm, Elvy, South, Svenson, M. Nicholls, Johnson, Kilby, Porter, Oliver, Claridge, Emerson, J Shearer, Taylor, Pringle, Edgar, emergencies: Ramson, Rushbrook, McHardy, Thomas. AUCKLAND REINFORCEMENTS.
The Hawke’s Bay touring team, which drew with Wanganui on Wednesday aud plays Auckland tu morrow, is to be reinforced by C. Brownlie, G. Yates and H. Priestley. Brownlie left Napier yesterday, joiniug the team at Marton last evening. Yates and Priestly left this afternoon, and will reach Auck laud to-morrow morning.
