The “Daily Chronicle” stales that great efforts have beeij made to induce the cricketers Page and Oliver, both Rugby five-eightlis, to join a leading Rugby League club. They were offered a lump sum as well as a good salary. Both refused even to discuss the matter (A- and N.Z.)
