A meeting of the Taranaki dairy factory managers was held yesterday which considered the report of the New Zealand dairy factory managers’ delegates who met representatives of the Otago and Southland Cheese Factory Managers’ Union at Wellington on August 6. The following resolution was adopted yesterday: That it ba a recommendation to the Dominion executive of the association to advise the Otago and Southland Union that the association is prepared to consider amalgamation with the Union on the basis of the formation of a Dominion Association Dairy Factory Managers such association to be duly registered, following which, a meeting will be arranged with representatives of employers throughout New Zca'and with the object of appointing « tribunal for the purpose of arriving at terms of engagement dairy factory managers on the basis which shall apply as a minimum Dominion standard.
