AUCKLAND v. HAWKE’S BAY. NORTHERN FIFTEEN PICKED. Auckland, Aug. 23. The following team has been crosen to represent Auckland against Hawke’s Bay at Eden Park on Saturday:— Full-back: Paewai. Threequarters: Lucas, Sheen and Hook. Five-eighths: Berridge and Cea. Badeley. Half: McManus. Rover: Keene. Forwards: Hadley, Palmer, Wanoa, Knight, McWilliams, Batty, Cathcart. Reserves: Backs, Wright, Mayer, Woods, Mathieson; forwards, Fletcher, Righton, Fell. Butler, who played splendidly aa full-back against Taranaki and Manawhtsiua, is ill, otherwise he would have filled the full-back position.
