WEDDING.

HALL—HOWARD. The marriage was celebrated at the residence of the bride’s parents yes tcrday of Miss Elizabeth (Betty) Howard, daughter of Mr and Mrs J. W. Howard, of Waipukurau i to Mr William eldest sou of Mr and Mrs William Hall, very old residents of Waipukurau. The ceremony was performed by the Rev A. C. McLean, M.A. The bride who was given away by her father, was attired in a dress of ivory crepe de chine and silver lace, with crystal and pearl beads, embroid ered veil, and orange blossoms, bhe carried a bouquet of spring flowers and maiueu-hair fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Dorrs Howard, sister of the bride. Her dress was of rose pink crepe de chine, with embroidery trimmings, her head-dress being a bandeau of silver leaves. Sno wore a necklace of pearls, a present from the bridegroom.

Mr Erank Watson, of Waipukurau, carried out the duties of best man.

The guests were afterwards entertained at the home of the bride’s parents, where the usual toasts were honoured.

The dress of the bride's mother was of navy blue, with mauve trimmings, and nat to tone. The mother of the Bridegroom wore a coat frock of rose repp, with hit, shoes and stockings to match.

The bride’s travelling dress was of wine repp, with hat and coat shoes and stocking matching. The honeymoon is to be spent in Wanganui. Their future home will be Waipukurau; WATSON-RAPLEY.

The wedding look place yesterday at the residence of toe bride’s parents of Miss Mavis Dorothy Bapley, daughter of Mrs J. W. Howard,, of; Waipukurau, to Mr Prank Arired Watson, son of Mrs Watson, and the late Mr A. Watson, of Waipukurau. The Rev A. C. McLean, M.A., was the officiating minister. The bride, who was given away by her step-father wore a dress of white georgette, with silver lace and crystal trimmings. Her veil was Beautifully embroidered, and adorned with orange blossoms. A bouquet of spring flowers was carried.

Miss Doris Howard, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and was attired in a frock of rose-pink crepe de chine witn hand embroidered trimmings. A bandeau of silver leaves was worn.

Mr Harry Hammond, of Waipukurau, performed the duties of best min. A reception was held at the homo of the bride’s parents, Mrs Howard receiving her guests wearing a gown of navy blue repp with mauve trimmings, with hat to match. The mother of the bridegroom wore a frock of satin marocain.

The Linuegicorn's present to the bridesmaid was a -fox fur choker.

The happy couple left by- car for Auckland, where the honeymoon is to bo spent, the bride travelling in a frock of bois re rose crepe de dune, with crinoline haT To tone.
