ITALIAN MIGRATION
RESTRICTIONS BEING ENFORCED.
(Received 23, 9.15 a.m.) London, Aug. 22. The “Times’ ” Rome correspondent says that further restrictions upon migration are being enforced from September Ist. These include the production by an migrant of a contract from a foreign employer, or reasons for joining relatives, before a passport can be obtained. The purpose is the stimulation of internal migration.—(“Times” Cable).
