CONFERENCE CONCLUDES. (Received 22, 12.50 p.m.) Lausanne, Aug. 21. The world cuuieience ou taith and order impressively concluded. A statement was adopted regarding Sacraments, recognising that under certain conditions their spiritual value might be realised through Divine Grace. The conference trusted that differences preventing full communion would be removed.
The proceedings in connection with the unity of tho churches became ruffled owing to the American Episcopalian, Dr. Moorehouse, objecting to- the formation of a Council of Churches without authority. The churches will consider the reports <ȣ the conference which urges that youths and women accept the responsibility of endeavouring to reach the truth.
