Mr. Livingstone Hopkins, the caricaturist, has died, aged 82, says a Sydney cable.

Mr AV. E. Bidwill has been elected unopposed to the office of president of the Wairarapa Racin'- Club. Mr Bidwill thus enters his sixteenth rear as president. He was first elected an official in 1884, and in 1912 assumed the presidenc- Mr Bidwill has now announced his intention to present a 100-guinea gold cun to the club to be attached to the prize for the Wairarapa Cup race run on the first day of the club’s New Year Meeting.
