BARRY.—At his residence, Norton Road, Hastings, on August 21st, 1927, James, the beloved husbaud of Mary Barry; aged 67 years, R.I.P. The Funeral will leave his lata residence for the Catholic Church and Hastings Cemetery To-morrow (Tuesday) at 2.15 p.m. 8. T. TONG, Undertaker. SMYTH.—Prof. J. Smyth, of Melbourne University, died suddenly at Tokio, Japan, on August 19th, 1927; aged about 65 years.—(By cable).
