The secretary (Mr W. L. Dunn) reported at the monthly meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Education Board yesterday that relativs to the nroposed school site extension at Clive, the owner of the land, since the last meeting, had made a fresh offer to sell for £l2O, This fresh offer had been put before the Department with a recommendation that it be accepted. as legal expenses would probably exceed the difference between rhe Board’s offer and the owner’s nrice. The secretary’s action met with the approval of the Board.
