The news agencies which published tho reports ot Miss Doran and her companions being found were flooded with inquiries and recriminations from all parts of the world when it was discovered that the reports were inaccurate anfl the 'plane still missing-

Air mail officials at Chicago expressed a fear that Captain Giles, who was following an air mail ’plane from Detroit, was forced down somewhere between Sturgis (Michigan! and Chicago. Leslie Hamilton and Lieut.-Colonel Minchin. the Imperial Airways’ pilot, arrived at Bristol from Amsterdam in a Fokker monoplane, en route to Dublin, where they will take off for a trans-Atlantic flight to Ottawa. The National Geographical Society ha s announced that it will contribute 25,000 dollars to Byrd’s Antarctic expedition for the purchase of scientific equipment.
