(To the Editor). Sir, —It seems to me that a “mountain has been made out of a molehill” in this controversy. Probably the wool for these caps was grown in New Zealand. Even when the caps are made in New Zealand, we import the material and linings from, 1 hope, the Mother Country. The making is the only point in question, and the made cap from England pays duty, so we get most of the cost back. I wonder if your correspondents have N.Z.-made goods throughout their households.
