ESSIONS AT NAPIER THIS MORNING’S SITTING. YOUTHS SENTENCED. Three youthe, named John Clarence Hollam, Winston Joseph Reilly, and Herbert James McLeod, who pleaded guilty to various charges of breaking, entering and theft, appeared before his Honour Mr. Justice Ostler, this morning for sentence. “The fact of the iffatter is,” said His Honour addressing the accused, “you have gof out of hand and have been making a nuisance of yourselves. The only hope for all of you is to learn to work because you will get very little satisfaction out of robbing other people. I am going to send you all to a place where you w 11 be 'fraught to work, and if you take advantage of this opportunity you will be able to follow honourable careers. You will be sent to a Borstal Institute for a period not exceeding five years.” DISCHARGES FROM BANKRUPTCY. The following motions for discharge from bankruptcy were granted:— Bichard Aiderman (Mr. C. Du#), Daniel David Mahoney (Mr. C. D. Cornford), George Bull (Mr. H. B. Lusk), Francis Hugh Boyle (Mr. W. Hislop), John Backus Wills (Mr. C. D. Cornford), Naghati Whanako (Mr. E. V. Simpson), William Bennett (Mr. C. Duff), David Scobie Davis Mr. H. Holderness), Douglas Francis Heywood (Mr. E. V. Simpsoil), Mare Hanaar (Mr. E. V. Simpson). “A VERY UNFAVOURABLE REPORT.” “A very unfavourable report,” said His Honour, when a motion was moved by Mr. C. Duff on behalf of Thomas South for discharge from bankAptcy. “Yes, sir, it is,” said Mr. Duff, “but his position was brought about by the slump and the fall in prices of stock.”

Mr. E. J. W. Hallett: The principal grounds for objection are that the bankrupt promised to furnish a statement which was not put in until the motion for discharge was lodged. It was desired that a further meeting of cerditors should be held to investigate the position. His Honour: I think that it is a fair thing that the creditors should have an opportunity of investigating the matter further.

Mr. Duff: There is Only one creditor who is dissatisfied, and it seems that he is vindictive.

Mr. Bishop (D.0.A.): The creditors want a further meeting to investigate matters further, and 1 would suggest that the discharge should be withheld pending that meeting. If it is held shortly he could apply for his discharge at the next sitting. The motion was accordingly adjourned till next session. IN DIVOCE. Percy Burton (Mr. Rogers) was granted a restitution of conjugal rights with Catherine Blanche Burton. James Craig Anderson (Mr. Hallett) was granted a dissolution of his marriage with Lily Florence C. Anderson on the grounds of separation, a decree nisi to be moved absolute in three months. On the grounds of failing to comply with a decree for restitution, Aileen Alice Clark (Mr. Bogers) was granted a decree nisi to be moved absolute in three months from George Leonard Clark.
