Rising on, the ball of the left toot, raise the right leg straight in front as high as possible. Swing it upwards and sideways, and then round to the back, keeping the knee straight and the toe pointed, hip high, throughout the movement. RECOIL SMARTLY. When the toe is at the highest at the rear, sink down on the left knee as far as possible, and strike the bell sharply with the inside of the right toe. Recoil smartly from the bell, raising the right leg again upwards as high as possible, and lifting the whole weight of the body on tiie ball of the left loot. Swing the right ieg round to the front again, and resume the erect position. Repeat till tired, and with the left leg also. Note.—The whole movement must be a smooth and flowing one; the back kept as erect and hollow as possible, and the lift of the moving leg obtained from the hips only. i
