up-to-datTdivisions. IN FINNISH PARLIAMENT. (Received 19, 11.40 a.m.) Viborg, Aug. 18. Divisions in the Finnish Parliament now occupy only 70 seconds. A machine has been installed in the Chamber beside the Speaker’s chair and when a division is necessary he presses a button, lighting a green lamp as a signal to the deputies, who thereupon press either a “yes” or “no” button installed at each desk. These are automatically recorded and exhibited to the House.
