PERSONNEL OF ELECTORAL COMMITTEE. Wellington, Aug. 17. The returning officer announces the result of the postal ballot, which was conducted for the purpose of electing delegates to represent the various districts on the electoral committee, which is to meet in Wellington on August 25 to consider the fifth annual report and accounts of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board and to elect three producers’ representatives on the board. As already announced, an election was not necessary this year in the districts of Gisborne. Marlborough, Nelson and South Canterbury, as the delegates nominated for these districts did not exceed the number required. STORTFORD LODGE SALE. GOOD SHEEP YARDING. The associated auctioneers held their usual weekly sale at Stortford Lodge yesterday, when they offered a medium entry of cattle and a good yarding of sheep to a fair attendance of the publice. Competition for fat ewes was slightly easier; good quality fat cattle showed an improvement on last sale, while competition for store sheep generally was on a par with late markets.
