A final /reminder is given of Mr Martin O’Neil's sale of ourebred and grade Jersey cattle, conducted by Messrs Gill Bros., to-morrow. 'lnis is the second surplus sale of .he vendors, and really good duality stock can be procured. All pedigrees will be given at the sale. A detailed advertisement appears on page 10 of this issue.
To-morrow evening by special request the Citizens’ Band are holding an old-time dance in the. bandroom, Warren street, commencing at 8 o’clock. Amongst the numbers wih be the Irish Quadrilles, La Rinka, Maxiiia, d’Alberts, Lancers, Valetta, Waltz, Schottiche, Barndance, Polka, Highland Schottiche, and other numbers. There will also be a Monte Carlo dance. Patrons should have a good night’s entertainment, and the management invites the young folk who have not done the old-time dances and those who intend patronising the South Islanders’ Re-union, to come along, and they will only be too pleased to help them through.
