PROVISION FOR ENLARGEMENT SIR G. HUNTER’S REQUEST. (Special to “Tribune.”) Wellington, Aug. 17. Sir George Hunter (Waipnwa) is asking the Minister of Education whether he will .make provision for the enlargement of the Oninkere School buildings now greatly overcrowded. The interest the settlers take in the education of their children, he says, is shown by their having given £56 towards the cost of erecting the school building and £ 100 to ’ - f—d of the teacher’s resid"ne?.
