When Christopher Thomas Morris, aged 45, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at Christchurch yesterday sekinc variation of a maintenance order made against him in favour of his wife, Ills counsel. Mr Hart, said Morris had illegitimate children scattered all over New Zealand He was £202 in arrears for illegitimate children in Christchurch and he had four children in the Auckland district to keen. There were no children bv his wife. Counsel said that Morris had been served with divorce papers by his wife. There was no earthly chance of his keeping' up the payments.
