A petition in bankruptcy has been filed by Tamiti Nikera, aboriginal native, of Te Haroto. A man named George Richards Wells was admitted to the Napier Hospital yesterday suffering from injuries to his side. Enquiries this morning elicited the information that his condition Was not serious. It is understood that the inmate was carrying a bucket and broom on his cycle near the Wellesley railway crossing and that the articles hindered him and collided with a lorry.
