EX-GERMAN PLANTATIONS
PROCEEDS FROM SALES. (Received 17, 1.10 p.m.) Melbourne, Aug. 17. To date the Federal Government has received £3.346,000 from the sale of ex-Gcrmhn plantations and other properties in New Guinea. There are still 21 properties unsold, consisting of virgin soil which will be offered ■for tender.
The proceeds of the sales will benefit the Repatriaton Fund. —(A. and N.Z.)
