FOUND IN A BASKET
BABY AT WAIPUKURAU i w u £3 notes With a letter. At 2.30 6’Clocii this morning a well-dressed baby boy a month old Was found in a basket on the veraffdah of the residence of Mr and Mrs V. Olsen. Racecourse road. Waipukurau. Mr. Olsen being aroused bv cries, went and investigated. He found the baby, together with a note giving the name as “Eric” and asking that it he given kindly attention. Two £5 notes ware with the letter and more were promised later.
