Prince In Canada
At the Alberta Ranch. STANLEY BALDWIN WITH THE INDIANS. “WHITE CHIEF OF GREAT WHITE KING.” (British Official Wireless .- (Received 15, 12.30 p.m.) Rugby, Aug. 13. The Prince of Wales and Prince George drove from the former's ranch into Calgary yesterday to greet Mr. Baldwin, who received an official reception there. At Banff yesterday the Prime Minister was admitted to “blood brotherhood” and .invested with the feathers and signia by the tribe of Stoney Indians, Chief Sitting Eagle conferring his own name on “The White Chief of the Great White King.” After attending the ceremonies in Edmondton to-day, the Princes are returning to the ranch for a few days before visiting British Columbia.
