HASTINGS CITIZENS’ BAND.
The above combination will render a programme (weather permitting) in Cornwall Park, Hastings, to-morrow (Sunday) afternoon, commencing at 2.30 p.m. A feature of the programme will be the selection from the Gilbert and Sullivan's opera “The Mikado ” which is so well-known to all music lovers. Bandmaster Len Simonsen will also be beard in a cornet solo, ‘ ‘ The Skylark, ’ ’ a very pretty tripletonguing polka. The other members will be: Selection, “The Golden Star,” popular, item “That Certain Party”; hymn “Rock of Ages,” and two marches, “Collingwood” and “Guarde du Corps.” It is anticipated that a large crowd will be present
