A Maori named Te Kati Thompson pleaded guilty in the Police Court at Auckland to three charges of obtaining credit for £lO7 9/- and £67 12/from Edwin Sayers, for £l2O from Mrs. Hughes Jones, and for £56 from Grafton Bridge Flats Ltd., without disclosing he was an undischarged bankrupt.
