LECTURE TO-NIGHT. "Elizabethan Sea Captains” is the delightful subject upon which Mr A. Ei'nest Mander, of Victoria University College, will lecture tonight at 8 o’clock, in Wesley Hall, Hastings. The romantic story ot the development of Britain’s sea power during the 16th century will provide a most thrilling narrative, excellently illustrated by Air Mander’s entrancing descriptive sketches cf the outstanding figures of the tune- ’Those sturdy English "sea dogs,” Drake. Hawkins. Raleigh, Grenville, Frobisher, etc., will be admirably and powerfully portrayed, and a thoroughly entertaining and illuminating lecture is assured. Mr. AV. A. G. Penlington, JI.A., will preside. The tutorial class in logic will meet at 7 p.m.
