WAIPUKUBAU STOCK SALE. The weekly, sale of cattle and sheep was held in Waipukurau yesterday before a fair attendance of buyers. The following :s a range of prices:— Two and 3-yr. P.A. weaners £2 11/-, fat cows £5 10/- to £6 6/-, m.a. ewes running S.D. and Romney rams 21/- to 26/-, fat wether 33/-, fat ewes 19/- to 28/6, ewe hoggets 20/6, wether hoggets 17/6, m.s. hoggets 20/9 to 21/-. South Amercia, advising the following shipments to th efnited Kingdom for the fortnight ended 4th August. 1927, from Argentine and Uruguay:— Chilled Beef: 179,850 quarters. Frozen Beef: 19,832 quarters. Frozen Mutton: 36,595 caracses. Frozen Lamb: 31,841 carcases.
