NEW PLYMOUTH SESSIONS. ... New Plymcuth, August 9. At the opening of the Supreme Court sessions, Mr Justice McGregor congratulated the Grand Jurv on the fact that there was only one criminal case for consideration. This was a case of breaking and entering at Opunake, in which a true bill was returned against Norman Oliver Andrews. Patrick Byrne, who had pleaded guilty to the assault of Constable Parkinson and causing bodilv harm, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment on each charge, the sentences to be cumulative.
