As a result of the interview the Pub lit Works Department were asked if they would approve of the hospital being supplied by tie Hastings bor ough. The Department had now intimated that it was not prepared to recom mend an extension of the borough license, and it was now necessary to formulate a scheme to reduce the interruptions to a minimum.
