CLIVE.

WOMEN’S INSTITUTE. There was a splendid attendance of members at the usual monthly meetof the Cliv e Women’s Institute held evening, the president (Mr Gregory) presiding. After the usual monthly business the meeting was handed over to a party of members who had charge of entertainment for the evening. A delightful programme was submitted, some very clever and amusing items being given. Two very interesting competitions were included in the programme and dainty prizes alloted to winners. The ladies responsible lor the very fine programme wore Mrs W. Tucker, Mrs Jim Cushing, Miss Hansen, Miss Ilia Cushing, Miss Milne and Miss Nola Cushing. After supper a Sweedish dance was indulged in, and a happy evening Ilion brought to a close by the singing of God Save the King. Hostesses for the evening were Moser.mes Gregory, T. 11.
