JURYMAN’S NOVEL EXCUSE. A juryman who failed to put in a prompt appearance explained that symtonis of rheumatism always developed when he sat still for any length of time. He accordingly called at a hotel for a couple of J.D.K.Z. Gins and soda. His Honour considered the explanation satisfactory.
