ST LEONARD’S CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the St. Leonard’s Club was held last evening and was presided over by Mr. I’. M? Cohr (vice-president) There was a good attomTaoee of

members, who showed keen interest in the club’s welfare.

The election of officers resulted: — Patron, Mr. H. M. Campbell, M.P. (re-elected); president, Mr. E. Murray; vice-president. Mr. J. Maher; treasurer, Mr. W. Keith; secretary, Mr. W. Lewis; delegates to the E.C.8.C., Messrs E. Murray and J. Maher; hon. auditor, H. Eagan (reelected); committee, Messrs Parsons, Wellwood, Schofield, Palmei and Raeburn. The Campbell Cup was won by Messrs Cosgrove, Walker. Turner and Schofield, Reference was made to the loss sustained by the dug owing to the death of Mr. R. Pothan. Votes of thanks were passed to the outgoing officers, the green superintendent. the caretaker, the ladies and the Press. HOCKEY. WAIRARAPA (5) v. PANNEVIRKE (D. Dannevlrke, July 11. A hockey match between the Wairarapa team, which won the Norden Cup at Wairoa on Saturday, and the Dannevirke representatives resulted: Wairarapa 5, Dannevirke 1.
