Trascott) yesterday won the final of the Auckland Howling Centre’s Christmas tournament. It is noteworthy that Trascott also won the championship in 1922, and on that occasion had Clarkson and Ball in his team. Yesterday the title-holders met Wyatt. Kirk, Cater and P. J. Scantlebury (Auckland) and defeated them hy 23 points to 14 at the Epsom green under difficult playing conditions.
