The death of Mrs ’essie Hook, who I passed away at her residence, Have, lock North yesterday, in her 48th year, was learnt this morning with deep regret. The deceaed. who had been ill for close on a veer, left no family to mourn her, but general sympathy is extended to her husband in his bereavement. The funeral will leave the residence for the Anglican Church and the Havelock North Cemetery. to-morrow afternoon (Wednesday) at 1 o'clock.
