EXPRESS TRAINS STOPPING AT OTANE. and after MONDAY, 12th April, V 1926, the UP and DOWN Express trains will stop at OTANE, depart mg as follows:— For Wellington, 9-31 a.m. For Napier 4. 4 p.m. The following alterations to the time-table will operate from same date:— The 7.15 a.m. Waipukurau-Napier train will be altered to leave Paki- Paki at 9.1 a.m. Runs on usual time at other stations. The Down Express (Napier 8.25, Hastings 8.54) will be altered to leave Napier 8.22 a.m., Hastings 8.51, and on usul time from Waipawa. The 2.45 p.m. Napier-Palmerston North train (Hastings 3.29) will be altered to leave Hastings 3.32 p.m. The UP Express will leave Hastings 4-49 p.m. and arrive Napier 5.9 p.m. The 4.35 p.un. Napier-jWaipukurau train (Clive 4-57, Hastings 6.30) will be altered to leave Napier 4.30 p.m., Clive 4.48, Whakatu <5B, Hastings 5.28, thence as at present. HASTINGS BOROUGH COUNCIL. BY-LAWNo. 16. JVOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Hastings Borough Council, held on THURSDAY, the 25th day of MARCH, 1926, it was resolved as follows:— The Council of the Borough of Hastings hereby makes by way of Special Order the following By-law under and by virtue of “The Municipal Corporations Act 1920,” and in pursuance of all other powers (if any) authorising the Council in that behalf. The object and purport of the said By-law are:— TITLE: This By-law may be cited as By-law No. 16 of the Borough of Hastings. CLAUSE 1. MOTOR CYCLES, PUSH CYCLES, ETC., TO CARRY LIGHTS AND REFLECTORS: Making provision for the riders of Motor Cycles, Bicycles and Tricycles to have attached to their machines between half an hour after sunset on one day and hall-an-hour before sunrise on the next day, a light or lights showing to the front, and red reflectors visible from behind, and of such size and pattern-as may be from time to time determined by Resolution of the Council. CLAUSE 2. PENALTY: The penalty for any breach of this By-law shall be that provided for by Section 360 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920/’ BY-LAW DEPOSITED: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a copy of the said By-law No. 16 is open for inspection during office hours at the office of the Council, Hastings Street, Hastings. AND also that the said Resolution and By-law will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers at 7.30 p.m. on THURSDAY, the 29th day of APRIL, 1926.
