ELTHAM INQUEST.
RIDEL’ RE BY-LAW ENFORCEMENT Eltham, Mar. 30. That the four vicitims of the recent t fire. at the Dominion Boarding House met their death by suffocation and burning was the verdict returned by tno ’jury when the inquiry into the conflagration concluded at .10 o’clock last night. A rider was added to the verdict: “That this jury strongly recommends strict enforcement of borough by-latvs dealing with the licensing and regulation of boardinghouses, particularly by-laws regarding tho provision of efficient fire escapes.
